This is the shop’s extension beyond retail into learning, sharing, making, and building a strong sense of belonging. All levels, all people, all together. We offer things like project based instruction, technique focused workshops, drop-in maker sessions, knit-alongs, and more. Some are structured, and others are just showing up with your project and being with good souls who also understand why you have 17 projects in progress. Our people! Regardless of what our time together looks like, it’s all grounded in the belief that making feels amazing when done in community.

Hang Out and Make

These drop-ins happen Saturday afternoons, 1–3 pm. Free, no need to RSVP, and you don’t have to be working on any particular project. Come as, and where you are! Our northeast neighborhood is a vibrant, creative, and welcoming hub with a definite “stay a while” vibe. We also have a sunny street side deck outside so bring your project bag, some neighborhood nibbles and join us,  

Knit-Alongs

These are perfect for completing a project within a timeline, with a group, and with all the support you need to get it done. We announce our KALs throughout the year, usually built around a specific pattern and yarn pairing.

Calling anyone who enjoys making with fiber: Knitters, weavers, crocheters, spinners. First time beginners and lifelong makers have a home here. We meet at ‘a show of hands’ at the Bon Ton Flour Mill on the north side of Bozeman, Montana.
